- One pound dried spaghetti
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
- Three garlic cloves
- One tablespoon red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- One tablespoon chopped basil
- One tablespoon chopped mint

- Bring six quarts of salted water to a boil in a large pot and add the pasta. Cook the spaghetti as directed on the box for al dente results, usually six to eight minutes.
